New Injuries Round 14:
Tom Horton (Force) - Came off with what looked like a syndesmosis injury.
Taniela Tupou (Rebels) - After the game he was cited for his hit on Darcy Swain. Source.
Raymond Tuputupu (Hurricanes) - Red carded for a high tackle. He was very bent at the waste so maybe they will contest it?
Danny Toala (Moana) - Pulled pregame. We aren’t sure why.
Neria Fomai (Moana) - Tore his hammy while running.
Abraham Pole (Moana) - Came off the field seemingly with an injury after 72 minutes.
Levi Aumua (Crusaders) - Pulled pregame after picking up a calf niggle during training during the week. Source.
David Havili (Crusaders) - Came off with what looked like a pec injury.
Christian Lio-Willie (Crusaders) - Came off with a left ankle injury. Tried to play on for a couple of minutes but couldn’t really run.
Jone Rova (Crusaders) - Came off for a late HIA a few minutes from time. Not sure if he passed or not.
Likely Back for Round 15:
Frank Lomani (Drua)- Red carded for throwing an elbow to Canham’s head in rd 7. Banded for 6 weeks so he should return rd 14.
Josh Kemeny (Rebels) - Went off with a concussion in rd 13. Expected to be fit for rd 15. Source.
Carter Gordon (Rebels) - Passed an HIA during the game but failed one afterward so won’t play round 14. Expected to be fit for rd 15. Source.
Lachie Andreson (Rebels) - Picked up a minor calf strain early in the week before rd 14. Expected back rd 15. Source.
David Feliuai (Rebels) - Concussed in rd 11, on track to return in rd 15. Source.
Suliasi Vunivalu (Reds) - Given two yellow cards for two separate tripping incidents in rd 13. Expected back after serving his one-match ban in rd 14.
Levi Aumua (Crusaders) - Has had a knee niggle for a few weeks, was meant to play last week but he was pulled pregame.
Cameron Millar (Highlanders) - Failed his HIA on rd 13, sounds like he narrowly missed returning in rd 14. Source.
Returned in Round 14:
Ned Hanigan (Waratahs) - Back from a rd 10 neck injury.
Taniela Tupou (Rebels) - Returned via the bench from a rd 12 concssion.
Darby Lancaster (Rebels) - Pulled pregame rd13 with tonsilitis. Returned this week.
Andrew Kellaway (Rebels) Returned this week.
James Tuttle (Rebels) - Returned from a fractured wrist via the bench.
Isaac Kailea (Rebels) - Returned from a mensicus tear that cost him last week only.
Tom Lynagh (Reds) - Missed the last 3 weeks with a hamstring tear. Started again on Friday night.
Alex Hodgman (Reds) - Recovered from an unknown injury to line up at prop.
Matt Faessler (Reds) - Returned after being rested last week.
Josh Flook (Reds) - Returned after missing last week with an ongoing AC joint injury.
James Slipper (Brumbies) - Returned after missing 3 weeks with a back injury.
Billy Pollard (Brumbies) - Returned from knee soreness that had him pulled pregame rd 11.
Corey Toole (Brumbies) - Returned from a rd 10 ankle injury.
Caleb Muntz (Drua) - Returned off the bench from an ACL repair back in September.
Zuriel Togiatama (Drua) - Returned off the bench from a rd 10 knee injury.
Naitoa Ah Kuoi (Chiefs) - Returned from a rd 11 MCL injury.
Ethan Blackadder (Crusaders) - Returned from a quad tear sustained back in rd 11.
Dallas McLeod (Crusaders) - Returned from a rd 12 injury.
Jona Nareki (Highlanders) - Returned from an ankle injury that had him miss the last 3 games.
Connor Garden-Bachop (Highlanders) - Was selected on the bench after recovering from a concussion sustained back in rd 11.
Billy Harmon (Highlanders) - Recovered from a gash on his hand in rd 11 that got infected.
Stephen Perofeta (Blues) - Back from a bruised shoulder blade back in rd 6.
Rieko Ioane (Blues) - Returned from a rd 11 concussion.
Billy Proctor (Hurricanes) - Back after missing last week with calf tightness.
Caleb Delany (Hurricanes) - Back after being pulled pregame last week with a high ankle sprain.

Western Force
Felix Kalapu - Underwent hamstring surgery last week (mid Feb) following a tear in training. Unavailable for the first half of Super Rugby. Source.
Campbell Parata - Recovering from a hamstring injury. Source.
Papillon Sevele - Undergoing rehab in Sydney in preseason for a right ACL injury sustained playing for his club. Source.
Angus Wagner - Unavailable for the first half of Super Rugby following meniscal surgery. Source.
Reesjan Pasitoa - Dislocated his elbow in training and had surgery to repair his ligaments on Monday 19th Feb. Will require a 10-12-week recovery period. Putting his return around early May. Source.
Siosifa Amone - Dislocated his thumb in training and had surgery to repair his ligaments Feb 19th. 6-8-week return to play so rds 7-9. Source.
Atu Moli - Is currently injured with ongoing hip injuries. Source.
Sam Carter - Ruled out of rd 11 with a hamstring injury. Source.
Ben Funnell - Came off with a concussion in rd 9, we haven’t heard so the earliest he could play was rd 11.
Tom Franklin - Concussed in rd 11, still not right for rd 13. Source.
Brumbies
Ed Kennedy - Missing the preseason with an infection. Racing the clock to be fit for round one. Source.
Blake Schoupp - Was stretchered off late in rd 10 with a shoulder injury. Expected to miss six weeks. Source.
Charlie Cale - Suffered a high ankle sprain in rd 12. Expected back rd 15 at the earliest, but more likely some time in the finals. Source.
Reds
Nil
Rebels
Lukhan Salakaia-Loto - Suffered a 5th metatarsal (little toe) fracture and had an operation (so we suspect it was a Jones Fracture). Seeing the surgeon 27/5 which will be 6 week post op. Hoping to return a few weeks after that. Source.
Matt Proctor - Fractured his Scapula (shoulder blade) in rd 11, still a few weeks away from a return as of rd 14. Source.
Alex Mafi - Suffered a grd 2 Soleus (calf) tear before kick-off in rd 12. Hoping to be back for finals. Source.
Joe Pincus - Suffered an ankle fracture dislocation. Back reintroducing some running before rd 14 so still a way off being available. Source.
Waratahs
Tom Ross - Injured his MCL in rd 10. Aiming to be back by rd 15 at the earliest (so likely a 4-6 week, grade 2 injury). Source.
Hayden Thompson-Stringer - Went down with a knee injury before rd 12 so didn’t take the field. Source.
Teddy Wilson - Out with a concussion, won’t be back until rd 14 at the earliest. Source.
Enrique Pieretto - The Argentine international has been ruled out after rd 13 with a neck injury. Source.
Lachie Swinton - Out of rd 13 and 14 with a neck injury. Source.
NEW ZEALAND
The All Blacks are on leave until early February. Although not confirmed, this may delay their entry into the SR Pacific competition.
Highlanders
Blair Ryall - Tore his MCL after rd 2 out will be out for three months. Source.
Rhys Patchell - Came off with a left pec injury in rd 10. They expect him to be out for 6-8 weeks so it must be a partial tear. Source.
Tanielu Tele’a - Faces a period on the sidelines after a suspected MCL (knee ligament) injury in rd 13. Source.
Chiefs
Jimmy Tupou - Out of rd 11 with a facial fracture. Won’t require surgery so could be back for the end of the season. Source.
Samipeni Finau - Came off with a left AC joint injury in rd 11 (shoulder). New information is saying he is out for 3-4 weeks, putting his return at roughly rd 15. Source.
Reuben O’Neill - Given a 3 week ban for a swinging arm against the Rebels in rd 13. Source.
Hurricanes
Asafo Aumua - Came off with a left knee MCL injury in rd 9, will be out for 6-8 weeks. Source.
Dane Coles - Clark Laidlaw revealed they sent an SOS to the former All Black and Hurricane, only for the veteran to suffer a hamstring injury before rd 9. Source.
Tyrel Lomax - Pulled pregame with a bone bruise on his ankle, apparently just a minor injury. Source.
Brad Shields - Strained a quad in training before rd 14 , expected to be fit for the finals. Source.
DuPlessis Kirifi - Missed rd 14 with bone bruising to his knee. Source.
Crusaders
Manasa Mataele - Pulled pregame rd 3 and then replaced in rd 4. No news on what he did or if he is still injured. Source.
Zach Gallagher - Expected back soon as of rd 10 from a concussion. Source.
Scott Barrett - Came off with back spasms early in the game rd 11, won’t play rd 13 and is now considered a “week by week proposition”. Source.
Brodie McAlister - Came off with a hamstring injury in rd 11. Source.
Blues
Finlay Christie - Missing rd 7 due to a groin injury. We were originally told he would be back for rd 9 but now they are saying he is still further away than rd 11. Source.
Rob Rush - Missed rd 7-11 due to a calf injury. Source.
Zarn Sullivan - In rd 12 he damaged the opposite knee to the one he was returning from. Torn his meniscus and needs surgery. His return date will be dictated by what they have to do in the operation, but he will be out for at least 4-6 weeks. Source.
Bryce Heem - Pulled pregame in rd 13.
Marcel Renata - Pulled pregame in rd 13.

Semisi Paea - Came off with a concussion in rd 12.
Gone for the season:
Lachie Lonergan (Brumbies) - Suffered a fractured dislocation to his ankle in rd 6. As of rd 14 he was back into doing some strength work but no impact or running yet. Our opinion is that he will likely need surgery and miss at least six months. Source.
Isaac Henry (Reds) - Tore his patella tendon in rd 4 and will miss the rest of the season. Roughly a 9 month injury. Source.
Jordan Petaia (Reds) - Dislocated his right shoulder in rd 9. Going for surgery then hoping to play some part in the tests later this year. I would expect a 5-6 month recovery. Source.
Harry Wilson (Reds) - Suffered a broken arm in rd 12, expected to be out for 8 weeks. Source.
Mesu Kunavula (Waratahs) – Knee, will be out for the season. Source.
Tom Lambert (Waratahs) - Had surgery the week of Feb 12th after damaging his meniscus in his knee in a rolling maul. Was originally said to be a 3 months return but he is now listed as out for the year. Source.
Mahe Vailanu (Waratahs) - Tore his meniscus in rd 6 and will be out for the season.
Angus Bell (Waratahs) - Came off with a recurrence of the toe injury in rd 7 that has already cost him two super rugby seasons. Sounds like he had a cavovarus foot reconstruction to reshape his high arch in the hope it stops the injury from happening again in future. As of 24th April he is expected to be out for 5 months. Theo Fourie (Waratahs) - Suffered a season ending foot injury in rd 9. Source.
Daniel Botha - Gone for the season with an Achillies injury. Source.
Dave Porecki (Waratahs) - Picked up an Achilles injury in the preseason. Won’t play again this season as he has ongoing issues. Source.
Julian Heaven (Waratahs) - Left the field with an AC joint injury in rd 11 and will be out for up to six weeks. Source.
Max Jorgensen (Waratahs) - Tore his hamstring playing for Randwick in rd 11. Apparently he could be out for 8-10 weeks which makes it a bad tear. Source.
Archer Holz (Waratahs) - Was aiming to return from a shoulder injury in round 8 but now listed as out for the season. Source.
Ned Slack-Smith (Waratahs) - Has a concussion. Ruled out for the season. Source.
Harry Potter (Force) - Injured his syndesmosis in rd 6 and going for surgery. Will miss the rest of the season.
Archer Holz (Waratahs) - Was aiming to return from a shoulder injury in round 8 but now listed as out for the season. Source.
Harry Johnson-Holmes (Waratahs) - Suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon in rd 12 and will be gone for the year. Source.
Ned Slack-Smith (Waratahs) - Has a concussion. Ruled out for the season. Source.
Thomas Umaga-Jensen (Highlanders) - Had an ACL rupture and repair mid-September. A 9-month recovery puts him back in mid-June so he is likely gone for the season. Source.
Connor McLeod (Highlanders) - Injured his ACL around rd 2 and needs surgery. Will be out for 9-12 months. Source.
Hugh Renton (Highlanders) - Pulled from the bench pregame rd 10 on his return from his syndesmosis sprain. Announced now that he is going for surgery and will be out for the season. Source.
Jonah Lowe (Highlanders) - Came off with a knee injury in rd 8. Has torn his ACL so will have surgery and miss 9-12 months. Source.
Kaleb Trask (Chiefs) - is still managing a long-term injury and has now been replaced in the official squad. Source.
Josh Lord (Chiefs)- Recovered from an ankle injury before rd 12 only to be ruled out for the rest of the season with a new knee injury. Source.
Cam Roigaard (Hurricanes) - Ruptured his patella tendon in rd 6. Has gone for surgery and will be out for 6-7 months. Source.
Jacob Devery (Hurricanes) - Suffered a knee injury in pre-season. Gone for the season. Source.
Will Jordan (Crusaders) - Will go for surgery just before the season kicks off to repair a shoulder that has been a lingering problem since last season. Will miss the entire Super Rugby season. Source.
Braydon Ennor (Crusaders) - Out for the season as he recovers from an ACL reconstruction in August. Apparently, he had an infection in his knee early post-op which has slowed his recovery. He is aiming to play in the back half of 2024. Source.
Jordan Lay (Blues) - Fractured his ankle in rd 3, had surgery and will be out for the season (3-4 months). Source.
