Rahboni Warren-Vosayaco (Waratahs) - Made his first appearance of the year after recovering from his hip injury.
Izaia Perese (Waratahs) - Back from having COVID.
Michael Hooper (Waratahs) - Made his long-awaited return from a Lis Franc injury in his foot in November.
Angus Bell (Waratahs) - Recovered from his back spasms to start rd 7.
Richie Asiata (Reds) - Returned off the bench from his broken arm.
Isoa Nasilsila (Drua) - Back from a rd 4 injury.
Luke Jacobson (Chiefs) - Returned via the bench from a ligament injury in his knee.
Anton Lienert-Brown (Chiefs) - Returned from a 2 week COVID absence.
Jamie Booth (Hurricanes) - Back from a knee injury he suffered back before rd 3.
Ardie Savea (Hurricanes) - Started after being pulled pregame last week.
Wes Goosen (Hurricanes) - Returned from a rd 6 concussion.
Ereatara Enari (Moana) - Back after being pulled pregame the previous match.
Dalton Papalii (Blues) - Injured in rd 6 and will be rested for the Tuesday night make-up game. Should be right for round 7. Source.
Karl Tu’inukuafe (Blues) - Made his comeback after back surgery.
Marino Mikaele-Ttu'u (Highlanders) - Back after being pulled late last week.
Likely back this week (Rd 8):
Noah Lolesio (Brumbies) - Suffered an ankle sprain in rd 5. They were originally confident he would play round 7. Source.
Lachie Anderson (Rebels) - A late withdrawal before rd 2 with a groin strain. In the post match presser for rd 5 coach Foote said he was nearing a return. Source.
Josh Canham (Rebels) – Concussed in rd 5, hopefully back in rd 8. Source.
Tamati Ioane (Rebels) – Concussed in rd 5, hopefully back in rd 8. Source.
Ross Haylett-Petty (Rebels) - Suffering with concussion, hopefully back in rd 8. Source.
Jeral Skelton (Rebels) – We now know he has been recovering from an ACL injury and is aiming for rd 8. Source.
Sam Slade (Moana) - Suffered a concussion in the Tuesday game between rds 6-7. Could return this week.
Henry Taefu (Moana) - Pulled from the starting line late in the makeup game between rd 6 and 7. We assume this was due to COVID which means he could return in rd 8.
Ray Niuia (Moana) - as per Henry Taefu.
Manu Paea (Moana) - as per Henry Taefu.
Beauden Barrett (Blues) - Suffered another concussion in rd 6. Has a mandatory 10 day stand down period so won't play in rd 7 but could play rd 8. Source.
Hoskins Sotutu (Blues) - Injured in rd 6 and had an All Black rest in rd 7. Source.
Rieko Ioane (Blues) - Injured in rd 6 and had an All Black rest in rd 7. Source.
Josh Goodhue (Blues) - Suffered a concussion in rd 6. Will go through normal protocols so could play rd 8. Source.
Mitch Brown (Chiefs) - Should be fit to play after overcoming his latest surgery. Source.
Tupou Vaa'i (Chiefs) - Available this week after being pulled late last week. Source.
Sione Mafileo (Chiefs) - Available this week after being pulled late last week. Source.
Dane Coles (Hurricanes) - Is apparently struggling with a calf injury. His return date has now been pushed back to at least rd 8. Source.
New Injuries (Rd 7):
Lalakai Foketi (Waratahs) - Suffered a quad injury.
Geoff Cridge (Waratahs) - Suffered an ankle injury.
Lukhan Salakaia-Loto (Reds) - Was seen with ice on his ankle at training on Wednesday so was pulled from the side for the weekend. We don't know if it was just a mild symptom or a new injury. Apparently he should be good for rd 9. Source.
Liam Wright (Reds) - Pulled from the side during the warm-up after hurting his ankle. Expected to be out for an extended period. Source.
Josh Nasser (Reds) - Has injured his pec and will be out for an extended period of time. Source.
Tuaina Tali Tualima (Reds) - Copped a red card and will serve a 3 week ban. Source.
Jesse Mogg (Brumbies) - Suffered a knee injury in the 4th minute and was pulled from the field in the 8th.
Nemani Nagusa (Drua) - Banned for 4 weeks from his high tackle. Source.
James Lentjes (Highlanders) - Pulled late pre-game.
Jermaine Ainsley (Highlanders) - Pulled late pre-game.
Ethan de Groot (Highlanders) - Came off for an HIA.
Shilo Klein (Crusaders) - Copped a red card for a shoulder to de Groot's head. Will face a 3 week ban. Source.
Michael Curry (Moana) - Pulled pregame with COVID.
Anzelo Tuitavuki (Moana) - Pulled pregame with COVID.
Tomasi Alosio (Moana) - Came off for an HIA after being hit in the head by Caleb Clarke.
Tom Robinson (Blues) - Pulled pregame, we think due to COVID.
Caleb Clarke (Blues) - Got a red card for jumping to charge down a ball and connecting with the opposition's head. Will face the judiciary on Wednesday night.
Laghlan Mcwhannell (Chiefs) - Came off with a concussion.
Josh Ioane (Chiefs) - In doubt to play rd 8 due to a rib injury that took him from the field. Source.

Tom Robertson - Injured his calf in rd 4 and not listed for rd 5. Source.

Chris Feauai-Sautia - Suffered a hamstring injury at training on Wednesday before rd 5. Source.
Tom Banks - Copped a red card and fractured his cheek at the same time. We'd think he is gone for at least 6 weeks bu apparently could be back as soon as round 11. Source. He did not receive a band for the red card. Source.
Reds
Suliasi Vunivalu - Retore his hamstring during the Wallabies season and apparently has now had 2 surgeries on it. Source. Apparently aiming to return in rd 9. Source.
Dane Zander - Copped a red card for a head-high tackle in rd 6 and was given a three-week ban. Source.
Jock Campbell - Fractured his hand in rd 6 and is expected to miss 3-4 weeks. Source. Aiming for rd 9. Source.
Seru Uru - Suffered a high ankle sprain (syndesmosis) in round 6. Apparently expected to miss 3-4 weeks. Aiming to play rd 9. Source.
Alex Mafi - Had two bones in his neck fused after rd 3. Expected to be out for 12 weeks. We think it could end his season. Source.
Ilaisa Droasese - Still in Fiji living the good life. Has not turned up to training yet as of round 6.
Lukhan Salakaia-Loto - Suffered a high ankle (Syndesmosis) injury in rd 3. Was meant to play but was ruled out mid-week.
Angus Scott-Young - Limped off with a knee (MCL) injury in rd 2. Is expected to miss 4-6 weeks. Apparently aiming for rd 9. Source.
Rebels
Trevor Hosea - Fractured his foot. Aiming to return Rd 12-13. Source.
Pone Fa'amausili - Struggling with a calf injury. Aiming to return rd 11-12. Source.
Rob Leota - Out with a hamstring injury to start the season. Aiming to play rd 10-11. Source.
Josh Kemeny - Expected to miss the majority of the season coming back from an ACL injury. Source.
Joe Pincus – Has a groin injury. Return date is still TBC. Source.
Waratahs
Ned Hanigan - Playing in Japan until the end of their 2022 season in May.
Mosese Tuipulotu - The young centre is injured and won't be available to play. Will be out until at least rd 11. Source.
Lachie Swinton - Hurt his shoulder late in the drought-breaking win over the Drua. His return date is still undecided as he recovers from a nerve injury. Source.
Max Douglas - Pulled from the side late before rd 4 with an injury. He isn't listed as unavailable by the Waratahs. Source.
Jeremy Williams - Tore his hamstring pilfering a ball and being forced into an overstretch type injury. Generally, I fear the worst for these ones, but he had the ice on his mid hamstring, so fingers crossed it is no more than 4-6 weeks. The Tahs are saying he is aiming for rd 11 or later. Source.
Will Harrison - Injured his quad, expected to play in rd 9. Source.
Ben Donaldson - Tweaked his calf against the Force. Has started running and should play rd 9, after their bye. Source.
Jake Gordon - Pulled up with a tight hamstring on Wednesday before rd 4. Should return after the by in rd 9. Source.
James Ramm – Was expected back in rd 5 from a rib injury but now listed for a round 7 return from a groin injury. Source.
James Turner - Rolled his ankle during the rd 3 warm-up and was ruled out of the game. Expected to return rd 7. Source.
NEW ZEALAND
Highlanders
Billy Harmon - Had a right shoulder operation in October that will keep him out until April. Aiming to play rd 10. Source.
Solomon Alaimalo - Tony Brown said he was again unavailable due to personal reasons. There is no timeframe on his return. Source.
Rory van Vugt - Broke his wrist in the trial of three halves on the 12th Feb. We suspect he will be out for six weeks. Source.
Christian Lio-Willie - Broke his hand in the lead up to their final trial. We suspect he will be out for roughly the first four weeks of Super Rugby. Source.
Josh Timu - Tore his PCL in rd 2 and will miss 6 weeks. Source.
Thomas Umaga-Jensen - His groin injury was only meant to take 4 weeks to recover but apparently he is still some time fro returning before rd 7. Source.
Liam Coombes-Fabling - Came off with a knee injury that will keep him out for between 2 and 6 weeks. Source.
Chiefs
Simon Parker - Out with a niggly injury that could have him out long term as of rd 7. Source.
Gideon Wrampling - Picked up an injury in the NPC and had surgery. Could be back in rd 9 or 10. Source.
Brodie Retallick - Came off with a fractured thumb in rd 6. Could be out for 8 weeks, which would make him touch and go for finals. Source.
Hurricanes
Owen Franks - The returning All Black was originally said to miss the entire season with an Achilles rupture and repair. Source. Now he is aiming to return on April 8th against the Hurricanes. Source.
Isaia Walker-Leawere - Playe club rugby in rd 7 in his return from a shoulder injury. Source.
Dominic Bird - His shoulder surgery is now expected to take him until late July. Source.
Crusaders
Jack Goodhue - Ruptured his ACL in April 2021. It sounds like he is targeting a 12-month return, meaning he will miss a large amount of SR Pacifika. Source.
Sam Whitelock - Set to miss the next four weeks of Super Rugby with a broken finger. This puts his return at rd 11. Source.
Brodie McAlister - Injured his calf in rd 6. Could be out for 6 weeks. Source.
Blues
Akira Ioane - Ruled out of round 2 late with a Lisfranc Injury. Now aiming to play in rd 10. Source.
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck - Forced from the game in rd 3. Aiming to return for rd 10. Source.
Nepo Laulala - Copped a red card in the rd 1 makeup game between rds 6 and 7. Copped a 3 week ban. Source.
PACIFIKA TEAMS
Fiji Drua
Ratu Rotuisolia - Came off after only 19 minutes clutching at his hamstring in rd 4.
Meli Derenalagi - Came off 51 minutes into rd 4 after struggling with an ankle injury before that.
Moana Pasifika

Gone for the season:
Alivereti Veitokani (Drua) - Has a major knee injury. Expected to return to rugby in 2023. Source.
Joey Walton (Waratahs) - Has done his second ACL in only his second session back for the Waratahs back in October 21. Will miss the entire SR Pacifika season. Source.
Dillon Hunt (Blues) - Forced into early retirement due to Concussion. Source.
Harry Plummer (Blues) - Has already had surgery n his shoulder and will miss the rest of the year. Source.
Patelesio Tomkinson (Highlanders) - will miss the entirety of the inaugural Super Rugby Pacific season after injuring his foot while playing for Otago. Vereniki Tikoisolomone has been called up as his replacement. Source.
Pari Pari Parkinson (Highlanders) - Suffered a "multi-ligament knee injury" in November 2021 (this will be ACL plus others). He won't be back for roughly twelve months. Source.
Jona Nareki (Highlanders) - Ruptured his ACL last August. Even a 9-month recovery wouldn't have him back until May. Source.
Nathan Harris (Chiefs) - Has had to retire due to chronic ankle pain. Source.

Fraser Armstrong (Hurricanes) - Retired due to injury. Source.
