Patrick Osborne (Highlanders) - Back in the starting side after several niggling injuries in the start of his season. SP Marais (Stormers) - Back after a minor groin niggle. Peter Grant (Force) - Came back this week via the bench. Marika Koroibete (Rebels) - Returned to the starting lineup. Toby Smith (Rebels) - Returned via the bench. Colby Fainga’a (Rebels) - Returned to the starting side following the birth of his child last week. Jean-Luc Du Preez (Sharks) - Started after a 1 week ankle injury.

No other news available Heiichiro ito (Sunwolves) - stretchered off after a scrum- looks like neck Teruya Goto (Sunwolves) - Injured before half time - leg?? Hayden Cripps (Sunwolves) - Right knee injury Fumiaki Tanaka (Sunwolves) - Reported as injured, not travelling to Argentina. No other news available Jamie-Jerry Taulagi (Sunwolves) - Red card - Banned for 5 weeks, Can return to play after June 10. Tolu Latu (Waratahs) - late withdrawal with shoulder injury. Taqele Naiyaravoro (Waratahs) - In "Major Doubt" for Rd 11 after scans on a hand injury. Hopefully he will be back for the May 21 game against the Rebels. Marcel Brache (Force)- Concussion Ben Daley (Force) - Concussion Sam Whitelock (Crusaders) - Cited for Striking another Player with the elbow. Waiting on his hearing. Kieran Read (Crusaders) - Broken Thumb - had surgery, normally 6weeks out Nico Lee (Cheetahs) - Grade 2 ankle injury, sidelined for 4-6 weeks, back after the June break - Rd 15. Piers Francis (Blues) - Late withdrawl after a wrist injury in the last session of the week. Ben Smith (Highlanders) - Sprained ankle, not on the plane for the 2 weeks tour of SA. Aiming to return May 20th against the Force. Jacobus Janse van Rensburg (Stormers) - Torn a bicep muscle and will be out for 4-6 weeks. Eben Etzebeth (Stormers) - Sent home to SA with a niggling calf injury. Likely back Rd 13 after the bye. Pieter-Steph du Toit (Stormers) -Sent home to SA with a niggling knee injury. Likely back Rd 13 after the bye. Kurt Coleman (Stormers) - Tore a deltoid ligament in his ankle, no news on return date but it won't be before their Rd 12 bye. Siya Kolisi (Stormers) -Was In doubt for Rd 11, nursing a shoulder injury but named to play. Frans Malherbe (Stormers) - will not be available for selection for week 11 due to the Springbok management plan. Nic Stirzaker (Rebels) - Ankle injury, Expected out for 3 weeks - Back Rd 13 Jake Gordon (Waratahs) - Rested for Rd 10 only. Karmichael Hunt (Reds) - Bruised knee, no ligament damage but could potentially miss Rd 11. Michael Leitch (Chiefs) - Rested for Rd 10 only. Tendai Mtawarira (Sharks) - Rested for Rd 10 only. Madosh Tambwe (Lions) - On leave with the South African under 20's side. Justin Forwood (Kings) - Tore an ACL against the Rebels. Having a reconstruction and won't be seen again in 2017. Lionel Cronje (Kings) - Concussion in Rd 10. Undergoing concussion protocols now.

Ramiro Moyano (Jaguares) - AC jt sprain against the Sharks , no news on return date yet. My gut feeling is 2-4 weeks.

JD Shickerling (Stormers) – returning from a minor ankle injury. Chris Van Zyl (Stormers) – concussion. Named for Rd 11. Jacques Potgieter (Bulls) - Set to start after a number of injuries this season. Ash Dixon (Highlanders) – played club rugby last week on the return trail. Named on the bench in Rd 11. Elliot Dixon (Highlanders) - Knee infection, named on the bench for Rd 11 Luke Whitelock (Highlanders) – Named to play this week. Richard Buckman (Highlanders) - Expected to cover Ben Smith at fullback on tour, named on the bench. Tolu Latu (Waratahs) - Named to start. Piers Francis (Blues) - Named to start. Johnny Fa’auli (Chiefs) – Finished his 4 week ban for dangerous tackle before Rd 10. Who knows if he will make the game day squad though. Charlie Ngatai (Chiefs) - Cleared to return to Super Rugby. We may see him eased back though. Nathan Harris (Chiefs)– Played 40min of club rugby in Rd 10. Cleared to play Super Rugby but should play club rugby again in Rd 11. Saw a specialist on Monday, healing slower than expected and still can't take off the moon boot. In serious doubt for the Lions tour (as warned by our resident physio in Rd 3!). Matt Proctor - Remains sidelined with Concussion Symptoms. Dane Coles – Calf injury still hasn't healed. Won't play Rd 11. Michael Fatialofa – Having surgery for his dislocated knee cap. "May" return this year. Reggie Goodes – Ongoing concussion symptoms – out for unknown time. Loni Uhila – Calf injury – Back in training full training, expected to play club rugby for Rd 11 & 12 before traveling to Pretoria and Perth with the Hurricanes.
