Rob Thompson (Highlanders) - Missed round 10 for family reasons. Played out of his skin this week.
Nathan Harris (Chiefs) - Back from a round 9 knee injury.
Solomon Alaimalo (Chiefs) - Back from his hamstring injury, ran well but had a few drop catches.
George Bridge (Crusaders) - Back from a hamstring or knege injury and bagged a double.
Codie Taylor (Crusaders) - Back from a round 9 calf injury.
Tolu Latu (Waratahs) – Back off the bench after serving his 6 week ban.
Shota Horie (Sunwolves) - Came off the bench early after joining up with the Sunwolves before rd 11.
Yu Tamura (Sunwolves) - Came off the bench early after joining up with the Sunwolves before rd 11.
Grant Hattingh (Sunwolves) - Back from injury and started at flanker.
Eben Etzebeth (Stormers) - Returned from a calf injury off the bench.
JD Schickerling (Stomers) - Back starting after recovery from an AC joint injury from round 6.
Makazole Mapimpi (Sharks) - Back after sitting out round 10 for a rest.
Akker van der Merwe (Sharks) - Back from his ban for punching on with Schalk.

New Injuries Rd 11:
Ryan Crotty (Crusaders) - Apparently passed his HIA off the field, but because of his concussion history he was left off the field.
Bryn Gatland (Highlanders) - Came of with a serious left foot injury in round 11. Sounds like a bad Lis Franc injury which is what Nehe Milner-Skudder had last year, gone for 6 months. Source.
Brad Weber (Chiefs) - Late withdrawal after injuring his shoulder on Wednesday. Source.
Sean Wainui (Chiefs) - Late withdrawal pregame with a hip injury. Source.
TJ Perenara (Hurricanes) - On All Black's rcoles
Tendai Mtawarira for the rest of their tour after the prop returned to Durban with a knee injury est week round 12. Source.
Jed Holloway (Waratahs) - Red carded for elbowing Thomas du Toit in the head. Banned for 3 weeks, back round 15. Source.
Jack Dempsey (Waratahs) - Suffered a back injury, hasn't gone on tour for round 12. Source.
Tolu Latu (Waratahs) - Suffered a calf injury, hasn't gone on tour for round 12. Source.
Rory O'Connor (Waratahs) - Suffered a rib injury, hasn't gone on tour for round 12. Source.
Michael Wells (Waratahs) - Apparently injured and won't play round 12.
Adam Coleman (Rebels) - Has a niggly shoulder injury so won't play in round 12. Source.
Tevita Kuridrani (Brumbies) - Has a minor knee injury that should only keep him out of round 12. Source.
Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro (Jaguares) - Suffered a right shoulder injury. He will be assessed early in the week.
Aphiwe Dyantyi (Lions) - Came off with a concussion.
Sylvian Mahuza (Lions) - Came off with what looked like a bad right knee injury.
Warren Whiteley (Lions) - Didn't play round 11 due a small cartilage tear in his knee. Should be right in "the next few weeks". Source.
Cyle Brink (Lions) - Has a small ligament strain in his knee. Expected to be right for round 13. Source.
Ruhan Nel (Stormers) - Fractured his ankle at training before round 11.
Pieter-Steph du Toit (Stormers) - Came off with a shoulder injury, will be assessed on Monday but will miss this weekend at least. Source.
Siya Kolisi (Stormers) - Rested for round 12. Source.
Frans Malherbe (Stormers) - Rested for round 12. Source.
Jade Stighling (Bulls) - Came off with a concussion. Won't play round 12. Source.
Jesse Kriel (Bulls) - Injured his ankle in round 11 and needs surgery. Will be available in 6-8 weeks. Source.
Divan Russouw (Bulls) - Had a concussion and won't play round 12. Source.
Burger Odendaal (Bulls) - Came off injured after 57 minutes with an eye injury. He has still been named in the Bulls starting team. Source.
Tendai Mtawarira (Sharks) - Tore his MCL (knee) in round 11. Has returned home for more testing and will play no further part in the Sharks tour. Source.

Likely back for this week (Rd 12):
Jack Debreczeni (Chiefs) - Stretchered off on half time with another concussion in round 10. No word on his recovery yet but he could be back.
Liam Squire (Highlanders) – Hip injury is fine but also damaged his MCL ligament (Knee) before round 6. Recovery is ahead of schedule and could even play round 12. Source.
Waisake Naholo (Highlanders) - Injured his MCL before round 8. Ahead of schedule and could be back in round 12. Source.
Alex Fidow (Hurricanes) - Named to play in the Hurricane Hunters in round 10. You'd think he should be back available for selection this week. Source.
Toby Smith (Hurricanes) - Had an ankle injury in round 5, was meant to be back for round 10-11. Source.
Gareth Evans (Hurricanes) – Has a calf strain from rd 2, As of round 10 he was still "a week or two away". Source.
Tanielu Tele’a (Blues) - Red carded late for tackling Leyds in the air rd 7. Banned for 4 weeks. Source.
Blake Gibson (Blues) - Took a direct hit to his knee and had to come off in round 8. Back this week. Source.
Tom Robertson (Waratahs) – ACL reconstruction (knee) in mid October. Was originally meant to play club footy this week but has been rushed into the squad due to Rory O'Connor's injury, likely to come off the bench. Source.
Ned Hanigan (Waratahs) - Suffered an MCL injury against the Blues in rd 8. Back in the tour squad for round 12. Source.
Will Miller (Waratahs) - Recovered from an injury to tour for round 12. Source.
Jack Maddocks (Rebels) - Came off after only a few minutes with a concussion in round 10. Hopefully back round 12.
Dane Haylett-Petty (Rebels) - Ruptured a ligament in his toe at the end of round 5. Recovered to play this week. Source.
Angus Cottrell (Rebels) - Copped a concussion at training before rd 10 but has recovered to play this week. Source.
Will Genia (Rebels) - Limped off with a right hip injury in round 10. Right to play round 12. Source.
Jamie Booth (Sunwolves) - Came off with concussion in round 10 but now in the tour squad for this week. Source.
Phil Burleigh (Sunwolves) – Returns from a pregame injury in round 4 to take his spot in the midfield.
Sikhumbuzo Notshe (Stormers) – Shoulder injury. Back in the touring squad this week. Source.
Jaco Coetzee (Stormers) - Came off with a bone bruise to his knee cap in rd 9. Should play openside instead of Kolisi this week. Source.
Ali Vermaak (Stormers) – Was expected to be back after the tour (rd 10) due to his neck injury but wasn't named. Might not be in the mix at all. Source.
EW Viljoen (Stormers) – Had surgery for a stress fracture. Played development side in round 10 so also probably not in the top 23 man side. Source.
Ruan Steenkamp (Bulls) - Concussed and fractured his jaw in rd 8. Expected back for round 12. Source.
Tim Agaba (Bulls) - Likely back with the team after round 11. Source.
Joaquin Diaz Bonilla (Jaguares) - Tore his quad in round 7, available but not picked for rd 11. Source.
Martín Landajo (Jaguares) - Suffered a fractured jaw in round 5. Having an operation this week and should be back in 30-40 days (roughly round 10). Source here.
Ramiro Moyano (Jaguares) - It sounds like he took a shot around his back or Kidney's in rd 8. Back in normal training with the squad before round 12. Source.
Matías Moroni (Jaguares) - Suffered a blow that caused a nasal obstruction and underwent surgery to drain it. On track for a rd 12 return, needs to pass testing this week though. Source.
Joaquin Tuculet (Jaguares) - Pulled mid week round 11 because his knee swelled up, back in the mix this week. Source.

Ongoing Injury List:
NEW ZEALAND
All Blacks are expected to miss two weeks during the Super Rugby season.
All Blacks are also not meant to play more than 6 game weeks in a row.
Highlanders
Kalolo Tuiloma – The prop is unavailable due to injury. No more news yet. Source here.
Marty Banks - Suffered a broken bone in his foot in rd 8 and will be unavailable for four to six weeks. Source.
Hurricanes
The Hurricanes in 2018 wouldn’t play anyone that isn’t fit to play fully on Monday of the game week.
Andries Ferreira - Suffered another knee injury. Has been sent back to South Africa to recover. At this stage he is not going to play with the Hurricanes, but they haven't ruled out something in the future. Source.
Nehe Milner-Skudder – Injured his shoulder on November 3. Recovery has been pushed back even further, only stben larting some contact work after round 11 and may not even play again this season. Source.
Dane Coles - Strained his calf mid week before rd 7. No firm return date, we only know that he will be "back at some point this season". Source.
Ben Lam - Tore his calf. Apparently pulled as more of a precaution in round 11 but now expected back in a week or two (rd 13-14). Source.
Chiefs
The Chiefs in 2018 – “There was a team policy this year to give injured players an extra week to ensure they were fully fit.”
Sam Cane – Fractured his neck against South Africa last year. Started contact work after round 8. Targeting a return in round 15 against the Reds. Source.
Kane Hames – Still going through concussion protocols from last year, expected to play “very soon”, but no clear time line. Source here.
Aidan Ross - Ruled out of round 9 and 10 with a neck injury. Source.
Brodie Retallick - Copped a shoulder stinger in the dying stages of rd 9. Also has a wrist injury that will likely see him return in round 15. Source.
Crusaders
Tim Perry – Broke his forearm Badly, needed a pin and plate. Apparently his season could be over. They are hoping he could he is back by rd 18 at the earliest. Source here.
Owen Franks - Confirmed to have a small "tear" in his shoulder (I assume they mean rotator cuff). He will miss at least the next four weeks from round 12. So at the earliest he will be back round 16. Source.
Andrew Makalio - Has a calf injury, back training with the team after round 11 but not named in round 12. Source.
Blues
Jimmy Tupou – ACL reconstruction mid May 2018, “still working back from it”, standard rehab of 9 months would put him back around mid Feb, but that can vary a lot. Source here.
Stephen Perofeta – Preseason pec muscle injury, apparently he could be gone for 16 weeks! Season pretty much gone….
Leni Apisai – Neck
Ezekiel Lindenmuth – Knee

Sonny Bill Williams - Missed round 8 with a knee injury. Now had an arthroscopy (clean out) and will miss "at least six weeks", this is definitely longer than normal so should be a cause for concern. Source.
Sione Mafileo - Facing a stint on the sideline after suffering an ankle during round 10. Source.

AUSTRALIA
The Australian sides have reached a “handshake agreement” with Rugby Australia to rest their Wallabies throughout the year. Most likely one or two weeks, but it is worth knowing when comparing to last seasons efforts. Source here.
Brumbies
Rob Valetini - Dislocated knee cap in rd 5, will be out for 6-8 weeks. Source.
David Pocock – The calf tear that never ends. Expected to miss round 13 and maybe 14. Source.
Lachlan McCaffrey - Aggravated his medial ligament in his knee in rd 9. Ruled out again in rd 12, should be back for rd 13. Source.
Reds
James Tuttle – Ruptured his Achilles tendon in the NRC during late October last year. Recovery is an absolute minimum of 6 months, more likely 8-9 months (as per SBW and Slipper) which puts him at a return in May at the absolute earliest, more likely late June/ July. Probably his season gone! Source here.
Feao Fotuaika - Out for round 7 after fracturing his thumb. Source.
Caleb Timu - Banned for 5 weeks during rd 7 for punching someone in a club game of footy. Back round 13.
Filipo Daugunu - Broke his forearm in rd 8, so most likely out for six weeks.
Rebels
Jordan Uelese – Still recovering from a knee reconstruction. Still a month away from the 2nd of April. Source.
Matt Toomua – Asked for an early release from Leicester, if they win (in our rd 11) then they would be safe from relegation and may actually let him go by our round 12. Otherwise he will play for them until at least the 18th of May so won’t be back before round 16 at the earliest. Source.

Sharks
Ruan Botha - Suffered a foot injury against the Stormers. Won't be right for rd 7. Source.
Craig Burden - Pulled pregame rd 6 with a hamstring tear, recovered in time to play but then injured his bicep in the same week and had to have surgery! Expected to be gone for 8-12 weeks. Source.
Juan Schoeman - Came off with a badly injured leg after a scrum collapsed on him in round 10. Looked bad.
Stormers
Ramone Samuels – Severe Knee injury in August of last year. No definite come back date yet. Source here.
Daniel du Plessis - Right knee injury. News has gotten worse for Dan, before round 10 they said he will "be out for a while". Source.
Chris van Zyl - Ruled out for at least six weeks due to a back injury in rd 8 (back rd 15). Source.
SP Marais - Injured his hip flexor trying to convert the Stormers last try in rd 8. Sent home from tour so at least won't play round 9. Source.
Jano Vermaak - The scrum half is likely back in the next two weeks (said before round 10). Source.
Dan Kriel - Took a shot to the ribs and had to come off in round 10.
Salmaan Moerat - Came off with what looked like a bad concussion in round 10.
Bulls
Edgar Marutlulle – Injured his achilles. Before round 6 his injury had been extended to more than six weeks away. Source.
Marnitz Boshoff – Originally expected back in April. More than six weeks from Rd 6. Source.
Dayan van der Westhuizen - Knee injury round 6. Will be out for 6 weeks. Source.
Marco Jansen van Vuren - On the long term injury list. More than six weeks from Rd 6. Source.
Eli Snyman - Went off with a grade 3 AC joint injury to his shoulder in rd 8. Out for at least six weeks. Source.
Schalk Brits - Red carded for punching on with Akkers in round 7. Confirmed as a 4 week ban but still not selected in round 12. Source.
Jason Jenkins - Training with the team before round 10 but apparently still struggling with his pec injury before round 12, not available this week. Source.
Lions
Lourens Erasmus – Fractured Tibia and Fibula through the ankle, 6-9 months recovery puts him back around June/ July so he could miss the entire season. Source here.

Dylan Smith - Actually broke his cheek bone in round 5. Out for 8-12 weeks. Source.
Vincent Tshituka - Ruled out for six weeks with an ankle injury. from round 5 Source.

Sunwolves
20 players are in an international camp from Feb 2 to March 1 so are unlikely to feature in the first 3 rounds of the year. Source here. UPDATE: Apparently they are expected back around week 6.
Craig Millar – Suffered a fracture and dislocation in his left foot. Will be out for 12 weeks starting rd 3. Source here.
Ed Quirk – Tore the MCL on the inside of his knee. Requires an operation and 8-10 weeks off (20th April- 5th May). Source here.
Shane Gates – Broke through his lower leg in round 3. If he broke both bones as it looked, he will be going for surgery and should be gone for a significant period of time. Source here.
Michael Little - Concussed in rd 5. Before Rd 10 he said he should be "okay in a couple of weeks" but he still isn't in the tour squad for rounds 12 and 13. Source.
Amanaki Mafi - Spent round 10 and 11 with the international squad and now not in the tour squad for round 12 and 13. Source.

Aki Seiuli (Highlanders) – Apparently out for the season.
Richard Buckman (Highlanders) -Having an operation on an Achilles tear, out for the season. Source.
Tevita Nabura (Highlanders) - Suffered a season ending knee injury. Source.
Mitchell Graham (Chiefs) – Fractured his tibia and fibula back in the 2017 Brisbane Tens, still unsure of a comeback date as he works with specialists to stop his leg pain. Source here 28th November. He still can’t run and doesn’t have a squad spot for 2019.
Tiaan Falcon (Chiefs) – Ruptured his Achilles tendon and is gone for the entire season. This means a big increase in minutes for Debreczini, and now Stephen Donald has been signed up. Source here.
Damian McKenzie (Chiefs) - Has torn his ACL and will be having a reconstruction in the next few weeks. Out for the season and the RWC. Source.
Sam Lousi (Hurricanes) – Torn his pec muscle, having an operation and is out for the year. Source here.
Vince Aso (Hurricanes) – His round 4 pec injury will now rule him out for the season. Source.
Manasa Mataele (Crusaders) – It has finally been confirmed that his season is over after rupturing his ACL. Hopefully he is back terrorising defences next season. Source here.
Israel Dagg (Crusaders) – Officially retired from rugby at age 30 due to his arthritic knee.
Tom Sanders (Crusaders) -Dislocated his shoulder in round 6. He has had surgery before round 8 and won't be back for six months. Source.
Ben Hyne (Brumbies) – Re-tore his ACL just before Christmas, will likely miss the full season. Source here.
Josh Mann-Rea (Brumbies) - Flown home from the tour after tearing his ACL against the Stormers. Gone for the season. Source.
Jordan Petaia (Reds) – Has a Lisfranc injury from rd 3. Likely out for the season.
Jack Hardy (Reds) - Tore his ACL in round 10. Gone for the year. Source.
Sean McMahon (Sunwolves) – Is having preseason foot surgery on a Lisfranc injury which rules him out for the year. As a result his contract has been cancelled with the Sunwolves. Source here. Shota Horie (Sunwolves) – Had surgery on his right foot to treat a stress fracture. His return is not clear at this stage, however he is targeting playing in the Pacific Nations Cup in July. Source here.
Rene Ranger (Sunwolves) – Did his ACL trying to step off his right leg in rd 1. Gone for the season.
Garth April (Bulls) – Required surgery on his shoulder and probably won’t be seen for the season.
Lood de Jager (Bulls)– Will miss the remainder of the Super Rugby season to get shoulder surgery. He is out for 4-5 months so we expect he needs either a shoulder reconstruction or pec muscle repair. Source here.
Gianni Lombard (Lions) - Tore his ACL, MCL and menisucs trying step someone in round 10, gone for the season. Source.
Gonzalo Bertranou (Jaguares) – Dislocated his shoulder and is having an operation on the 22nd of February. No return date has been set, but generally it is a five month lay off (mid July at the earliest). Source here.
Bautista Delguy (Jaguares) - Had surgery for an ankle injury after round 5 and has been ruled out for 4 months. Gone for the season. Source.
