Ash Dixon (Highlanders) - Recovered from a Stomach Bug and came off the bench. Daniel Lienert-Brown (Highlanders) -Recovered from a Stomach Bug and came off the bench. Ben Smith (Highlanders) - Made an immediate impact with a dominant display at full back. Waisake Naholo (Highlanders) - Back from suspension and dominated. Juan De Jongh (Stormers) – Took his place on the bench in Rd 14. Kurt Coleman (Stormers) – Started at fly half after recovering from an ankle injury. Sylvian Mahuza (Lions) - Recovered from his quad injury, came back on the bench. Jaco Kriel (Lions) – Came back via the bench in Rd 14. Malcom Jaer (Kings) - Played fullback on his return from injury. Chris Cloete (Kings) - Returned from concussion at open side flanker Nic Stirzaker (Rebels) – Made his comeback for the Rebels in Rd 14. Tom English (Rebels) – Started at outside centre for the Rebels against the Crusaders Sefa Naivalu (Rebels) – Struggled to get any ball against the Crusaders Matt Hodgson (Force) - Helped lead his team to victory over the Reds. Adriaan Strauss (Bulls) - Made his comeback after being dropped for form. Garth April (Sharks) - Started at fly half for the Stormers. Nicolas Sanchez (Jaguares) – Started at fly half for the Jaguares Ramiro Moyano (Jaguares) – Back from his AC jt sprain to start on the wing. New Injuries Rd 14
McMahon could miss the rest of the season after dislocating his wrist Sekope Kepu (Waratahs) - Injured his hand Nick Phipps (Waratahs) - Ankle injury, x-ray was clear. Will try to train by thursday otherwise will miss this week. Tim Nanai-Williams (Chiefs) – Injured his ankle. Lopeti Timani (Rebels)– Pulled from the match pregame after failing a Concussion fitness test, likely back Rd 15.
Sean McMahon (Rebels) - Dislocated his wrist, out for 6-8 weeks (8th-22nd of July). Pete Samu (Crusaders) - Ankle injury, looked very uncomfortable so my guess is he will be out for 4-6 weeks from Rd 14. Now in a moon boot with makes this even more likely. Wes Goosen (Hurricanes) - Shoulder or rib injury, not ruled out of Rd 15 yet. Ardie Savea (Hurricanes) - Concussion unlikely to play Rd 15. Mark Abbott (Hurricanes) -Concussion unlikely to play Rd 15. Beauden Barrett (Hurricanes) - Pulled pregame due to headaches after flying to South Africa. In Rd 13 he was pulled off at half time after a head knock even though he passed the concussion protocol. He also had no symptoms through the week but the team doctor has decided to be cautious. Dillon Hunt (Highlanders) - Glute injury and didn't train on Tuesday, not clear if he will play this weekend Lima Sopoaga (Highlanders) had a slight calf strain and didn't train on Tuesday, not clear if he will play this weekend.
Sonny Bill Williams (Blues) - Knee injury, Ruled out of Rd 15. Seems like it must only be minor. Augustine Pulu (Blues) - Rested for Rd15 to recover from niggling injuries. Blake Gibson (Blues) - Rested for Rd15 to recover from niggling injuries. Matt Duffie (Blues) - Rested for Rd15 to recover from niggling injuries. George Moala (Blues) - Rested for Rd15 to recover from niggling injuries. Charlie Faumuina (Blues) - has tonsillitis. Hanro Liebenberg (Bulls) - Ankle injury, out for 6 weeks, This would have him fit for Rd 16 against the Kings. Jacobie Adriaanse (Bulls) - Concussion, out for 6 weeks! Likely back Rd 16. Jannes Kirsten (Bulls) - Concussions out for 2 weeks. Likely back Rd 16. Alshaun Bock (Kings) - Bicep tear, consulting a specialist this week so it sounds serious. Ntabeni Dukisa (Kings) - AC joint injury, waiting on X-rays. Robbie Coetzee (Lions) - 5 week ban for kneeing Cloete, he will only miss Rd 15. Shaun Venter (Cheetahs) - Ankle sprain, out for 4-6 weeks, likely back for Rd 17.
Lukhanyo Am (Sharks) - Suffered an eye socket injury and will go for scans. Mahlatse “Chiliboy” Ralepelle (Sharks) - Irritated a neck injury that he sustained in springsboks camp. No news on timeframes yet.

Andrew Kellaway (Waratahs) - returning from a face fracture. Played club rugby in Rd 14, has flown over to NZ for Rd 15. Dane Haylet-Petty (Force) - Back from his hamstring injury for Rd 15. Schalk Ferreira (Kings) - returned to full training this week form a bicep injury. NEW ZEALAND Highlanders Liam squire – Fractured thumb. Out for 6 weeks, back after the international break. Could be fit for the start of the Lions series. Dan Pryor - Getting more confidence on his knee and had come through club games recently (Updated before Rd 15). Hurricanes Dane Coles – Concussion symptons and problem calf. Hoping to be back for clash against the Chiefs. Michael Fatialofa – Having surgery for his dislocated knee cap. “May” return this year. Reggie Goodes – Ongoing concussion symptoms – out for unknown time. Matt Proctor – Remains sidelined with Concussion Symptoms, unlikely for Rd 15 given that Milner-Skudder flew to join the squad and he didn't. Chiefs Nil Crusaders Digby Ioane – Re-aggravated his pinky finger injury now requiring an operation. Digby has said he was out for five weeks (back Rd 13) but his coach has said there is no timeframe on his recovery. Kieran Read – Broken Thumb – had surgery after Rd10, normally 6weeks out. Scott Barrett - Knee and ankle injuries, unlikely for Rd 15. Should play during the Lions tour and in Rd 17 for the Crusaders. Blues Jerome Kaino – Out for 6 weeks from Rd 10. Meniscus tear going for surgery. AUSTRALIA Waratahs Nil Brumbies Leslie Leulua’iali’i-Makin – TBA. Tomas Cubelli – Patella Tendon, hoping to be back for the international break. Scott Sio – Patella and medial ligament, facing ~2 months on the sideline from Rd 10. Reds Campbell Magnay - Concussion Rd 13. Force Ben McCalman – Refractured his Scapula (for the 3rd time) against the Kings. McCalman will miss at least two more games but hopes to be back in time to take on the Reds in Queensland on May 26. Jermaine Ainsley – Dislocated elbow, probably season. Kane Koteka – Returned to full training after concussion. Ben Daley – Concussion Rd 10 Rebels Jordy Reid – Stress fracture in the back. Out for up to 6 weeks from Rd 6 Culum Retallick – Concussion, return date TBC. Sam Jefferies – Ankle, indefinite. Harley Fox – Ankle 10-12 weeks. Semisi Tupou – Knee, 3-4 weeks. Cruz Ah-Nau – Knee, 3-4 weeks. Jack Maddocks – Forearm injury. Tim Metcher – Foot, 2-4 weeks. SOUTH AFRICA Sharks Andre Esterhuizen – 6 Week ban starting Rd 10. Curwin Bosch – Now joined the SA U20’s side to train for the upcoming world cup. Unlikely to play again this season. Stormers Jean-Luc du Plessis – Is progressing well following a pelvic bone stress injury, hoping to get a game in the Super Sport Challenge in 2-3 weeks (updated before Rd 13). Scarra Ntubeni – Back running after ruptured achillies last year Steph de Wit – Fractured his ankle, the bone healing well after surgery. Rynhardt Elstadt – Complete syndesmosis, to undergo surgery and will be out for 3 months. Huw Jones – Torn hamstring, to undergo surgery. Jacobus Janse van Rensburg – Torn a bicep muscle in Rd 10 and will be out for 4-6 weeks. Robert du Preez – Torn pectoral muscle, could undergo surgery which would rule him out for the season. Shaun Treeby - Issued a three week suspension following a dangerous tackle starting Rd 13. Lions Dylan Smith – Shoulder operation – 4 months Rohan Janse Van Rensburg – LCL & Posterolateral corner injury. Out for 12 weeks, Should be the season. Jaco Van Der Walt – Dislocated foot, Hopefully back in 4 weeks (Rd 12) Cheetahs Nico Lee – Grade 2 ankle injury, sidelined for 4-6 weeks, back after the June break – Rd 15. Paul Schoeman – Blood clots of the lungs. Unlikely to be back before the international window at best. Francois Venter - Hamstring tear in Rd 13 Kings Waylon Murray – Hamstring injury, sent home from tour of Aus. Waiting on further scans for more news. Michael Willemse – Appendix removed, back after the international break. Andisa Ntsila - Sustained a shoulder injury in Rd 13. Targeting South Africa A games. Lionel Cronje - Fractured his Jaw during the week before Rd 14. Targeting South Africa A games. Bulls John-Roy Jenkinson – Grade 2 hamstring injury. To miss at least 1 more week. Handre Pollard – Ankle Injury, out for 8-10 weeks (late June). Dries Swanepoel – Expected back Rd 13. Jonny Kotze – Expected back Rd 10-11 Travis Ismaiel – Knee injury that will keep him out for six weeks, back after the international break. Jacques Potgieter – High blood pressure for an unknown reason, being pulled from play until it has been looked into. ARGENTINA/JAPAN Jaguares Emiliano Boffelli – Ruptured extensor tendon of his index finger. Cleared to train normally with the finger braced. Unclear if this will affect his chances of being picked. Marcos Kremer – Concussion, going through the return to play protocols. Sunwolves Taakaki Nakazuru – Went off 3 minutes in to the game after a big hit (Rd 9). No further news. Takeshi Kizu -Reported as injured, not travelling to Argentina. No other news available Heiichiro ito – stretchered off after a scrum- looks like neck Teruya Goto – hamstring.
